Such gorgeous pics…makes me miss PA although we have had some snow…more than usual…in VA this year. Today it is 56 and sunny…the dogs are sunbathing on the deck.
Earth teach me to forget myself as melted snow forgets its life. Earth teach me resignation as the leaves which die in the fall. Earth teach me courage as the tree which stands all alone. Earth teach me regeneration as the seed which rises in the spring. -William Alexander
Serenity and peace of mind are luxuries without price — but far more obtainable than what we think makes us happy.
Thought about these pics when I happened upon the above this morning… Some may find a scope free of “entertaining” life rather difficult to simmer about, ya know.
Not sure what to title it as of yet:
Barren and cold
Flags of breathe absent from scope
Sliver of cadence
This haiku thing… may I request another phrase?? Something along the lines of strength in the structure, ever changing amidst the more rapid ever changing moments – subtle and sound…
Hmmm. Might have to keep this one on the desktop and finish it out today.
i’m so glad you were back here with your lens, yes i am.

I tried, actually. Lots of distractions at the moment from contemplative, colorful writing. Perhaps in another week or so…
