Strong - Elegant - Inspired - Words of Stahl are Words of Steel
Greg Stahl is a writer who believes that, when it comes to communication, less is more. Complex ideas portrayed in plain language using sparing syllables satisfy him. Subject-verb agreement, proper comma use, consistent adherence to style guides, bullet-proof accuracy–these are prerequisites to professional communication. Twists of phrase that sing, ironic narrative twists and an ability to find a story or essay's hidden pulse–these are skills that set him apart.
Copywriting and Editing
Stahl is proud to have forged partnerships with a dozen or more entrepreneurs who have hired him to make their marketing prose sizzle. Projects have been diverse and include website copywriting, website editing, white paper authoring, video storyboarding, ghost writing and social media content generation. So if you're looking for the right words and ideas to carry out your vision, look here. We'll use your vision to reach people–and move them.
Stahl has written for a dozen publications on topics ranging from a high-profile, two-month double murder trial to the presidential campaign trail. He’s been on the front lines of the West’s largest wildfires, and has traveled to the shadowy depths of a molybdenum mine 5,243 feet beneath the Continental Divide in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Recognized in 2005 as a Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Stahl has achieved a high level of expertise on natural resources and environment issues.
Through more than 15 years of gritty reporting and consistent writing, Stahl has been recognized with more than 50 journalism awards and is author of Paddling Idaho, a guidebook to kayaking, rafting, canoeing and floating Idaho's rivers and lakes.
